The Remote Management module provides the following web browser-based features for remote server maintenance:

• Power-on/power-off/reboot: Turn on, turn off, restart the server
• KVM over IP (keyboard, video, mouse): Operation of the server as though using a locally connected keyboard and mouse as well as connected monitor
• Hardware monitoring: Checking temperatures, fan speeds, voltages, etc. in the browser

For remote maintenance, an IP address (static or DHCP) must be assigned to the remote management module. The module is accessible via a web browser shortly after the server's power supply has been connected and switched on.
